Gary Gore Multipurpose room upgrades:
- The district has received and evaluated three bids for the Gary Gore Multipurpose room upgrades and have selected CTi based on cost, experience and overall effectiveness and value for the district.
Safety and Security updates:
- Replacement of the plexi glass windows throughout the district with bullet resistant glass and reflective window film.
- Districtwide installation of first responder signage project nearing completion.
Transportation updates:
- District has purchased a 12 passenger transit van and two carts.

The district has met with three companies to review their ideas/plans for new video marquee boards at each school, along with new video scoreboards at the senior high's football field and basketball court. The company's selected were pulled from a vetted list put together by the JSD co-op partners at OMNIA and TIPS.
Quotes from the three companies are to be turned into the district by November 6, 2024.

The Jennings School District is currently in the due diligence phase of several Prop J projects.
- Marquee Boards at each building. Scheduling vendors to bid on marquee message boards for each school building. All locations to have a 2-sided display perpendicular to the road in front of the school building.
- Scoreboards at the Senior High School. Scheduling vendors to bid on one exterior scoreboard for the football field and one interior scoreboard for the A-Gym basketball court.
- Security gates, bollards and fencing. Scheduling several district locations to install added parking lot and building security.
- Transportation: Activities & Athletics vehicles
The Jennings School District has placed Proposition J, a zero tax rate increase bond issue on the August 6 election ballot. "Zero" means that, if passed by voters, the tax rate will NOT increase. What it will do is raise $9 million for projects across the district and in every school. Through conversations with schools and community, we have targeted priority project upgrades and renovations in Academics, Safety, Infrastructure/Buildings, Technology and Athletics.

The Fact Book also includes a tentative project list showing planned upgrades in all schools and facilities.
