12th Grade Vaccine Requirements

Dear Parents of Jennings High School Juniors,

It is important to know that your current junior is required to have the second dose of  the vaccine -- MCV (meningococcal) – before he/she starts school as a senior. Our CareSTL Health Center, located in the Fairview Elementary School, provides school-required vaccines for your child and can provide the vaccines to your child during the school day. Jennings provides the transportation for students from his/her school.

Students whose records show they need the vaccine and have consent for CareSTL to give the vaccines will be scheduled with an appointment to have this completed sometime from early February through May.

If you want your child to receive the vaccines at CareSTL at no expense to you, please talk to your school nurse or call 314-882-1284 to schedule an appointment.

CareSTL Health Center is staffed by a nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive pediatric care, and is available to all Jennings students. The center also provides behavioral health services for our students.
